     The F-15 Eagle is an American tactical fighter. It was developed during the 70’s by McDonnell Douglas. The first flight took place 27 July 1972. The F-15 Eagle entered service in 9 January 1976.

     The F-15 Eagle was developed for interception and the air supremacy.

F-15A Eagle – single-seat
F-15B Eagle – two-seat, training
F-15C Eagle – single-seat, air-superiority fighter
F-15D Eagle – two-seat, training
F-15E Strike Eagle – two-seat, multirole strike fighter
F-15SE Silent Eagle – two-seat, using stealth features, internal weapons carriage. In development.
